Today,  about 30% of Lumson’s energy used for packaging manufacturing comes from the sun. Lumson’s investment in solar energy is a natural follow up  to comply with the “Green policy” of the company.

The company is proud to announce the installation of a solar panel system on its International Headquarter in Capergnanica Italy.

The use of solar energy instead of traditional power allowed Lumson to reduce the ammount of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxide (NOX), and expecially of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) discharged into the environment.

Since its installation the Solar Panel System was able to produce 163.770,78 kWh of energy and to avoid discharging into the atmosphere of up to 114,2 t of CO2, and last but not least to save more or less  51,2 t of oil.
