The Natural Beauty Summit Europe will be held as an “off” event of Beyond Beauty, on 10 and 11 September. Rightly so, as the subject is indistinguishable from the future of the beauty industry. “We are entering into a new era where conventional cosmetics and responsible cosmetics will be one and the same,” says Sandie Jaidane, the person behind the program’s concept. To understand and above all anticipate the opportunity, the summit will do in-depth thinking about consumer expectations. Several qualitative and quantitative studies will be presented: an inventory of business opportunities being offered on the French market, by Deloitte; the new natural/organics cosmetics in supermarket distribution, by a distributor chain and a mass-market brand; the results of the IPSOS study of the recognition of the “organics” label among French women consumers, presented by COSMEBIO; the typology of 2012 consumers by ETHICITY…
In view of this decoding, how do we address consumers? The communications agencies that have also initiated this change, like 5ème GAUCHE, Pub Com, COMMENTERRE… will talk about green brands’ avenues of strategic communications. How do they convey their commitment? What place do they give to sponsorship and digital communications? Finally, with the keys to success necessarily being matters of regulations and innovation, the NBSE will turn the floor over to experts in step with the latest changes.
