Created in 1997, the American site, Beautyhabit, has earned a special place in the world of online beauty. Its founder, Teresa Mitchell, selects each of the featured brands herself, to offer an amazing variety of original and high-quality niche products. She will be attending the American COSMEETING Business Meetings to be held in New York on 14th and 15th May, and tells us why.

• What is the Beauty Habit position regarding new and niche brands ?

Finding the best match for our customer base. Innovation, luxury - something unique and different. There really is not a formula - to be honest, sometimes it really comes down to a feeling. I really enjoy working with brands that are just as passionate about products as I am.

• What type of products are you looking for now?

Something that catches my eye, nose or is innovative!

• Compared to your expectations, what recommendations / advices would you give to brands for getting into the american market ?

Sampling is important, training support, even by phone. Trusting us when it comes to marketing to our individual customer base. Each store in a way has its own "culture"!
