As part of the COSMEETING conference cycle at Beyond Beauty Paris, FEBEA offers cosmetic companies 4 free lectures on the topic of exportation.
How to prepare your free sale certificate? Animated by Anne Dux, Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs and Head of European Relations, and Juliette Meledie, Director of Economic, Environmental and International Affairs. The free sale certificate is a key document for exportation, it is the « passport » of cosmetic products to be exported in 60 countries. The FSCs certify that the product can be freely marketed in the country of origin. For countries that require such certificate, it is to ensure that products entering
their territory comply with the regulations in the country of origin. FEBEA – Fédération des Entreprises de la Beauté (federation of beauty compagnies), whose “quality approach” to issue the FSC is certified ISO 9001:2008, will present the actors involved in obtaining the FSC and the required conditions. Anne Dux and Juliette Meledie will present how the analysis and validation for the FSC are carried out, and the observed non-compliances.

The European Cosmetic Regulations: How to notify your products?
Cosmetic Regulations : Are you ready for the notification? On July 11th, 2013, the new European regulations for cosmetic products will come into force and replace the Cosmetics Directive. FEBEA – Fédération des Entreprises de la Beauté, presents the various changes imposed by the new rules and tells you what you need to set up for notification. Indeed, the Regulation plans that the cosmetic responsible person shall notify the Commission before any new cosmetic product is placed on the market. Who must notify ? What should you notify? What about the notification of a cosmetic product containing substances in the form of nanoparticles? Does the distributor have the right to notify? What to use: frames or integral formulas? What type of notification is the safest in terms of confidentiality? So many questions that Anne Dux will respond.
