Parfums Steve McQueen, to find the scent of the man

The date November 8th, 2010 was the 30th anniversary of Steve McQueen’s death. A few weeks earlier, Thierry Lemahieu, a French designer but also fan of the “King of Cool”, launched the first perfume named after the legend, on the European market. An almost initiatory initiative, started with the agreement of the star’s children, Chadwick and Terry and congratulations of Neile, his first wife.

“The man has always been near me, very close. I wanted to interpret his smell, the smell of freedom. According to Neile, his wife, Steve McQueen does not put perfume, he must have been smelling warm earth, motor oil, i don’t know …. but the smell must have been of enormous sensuality. This has guided the creation of the essence. Steve McQueen fragrance captures the aura of this complex man.”. It is made of lemon, green apple on top note, patchouli and amber on base note.

After presenting the project to beneficiaries who supported him, Thierry Lemahieu signed the license and started selling online in September 2010 a magnificent bottle with the perfume in which we recognize the elegance and simplicity of the character.

“This niche perfume has immediately found its following. Steve McQueen’s character is beloved not only by the generation that has known him but also by young people who recognize themselves in the values he generates: mystery, beauty, nonchalance … “.

The bottle “King of Cool”, adapted to selective retail, will be launched shortly and presented to the international distribution on Zoom Cosmeeting in September.
