The International Institute of Market Research, Kline Group, confirms excellent
prospects for natural cosmetics. In Europe, experts expect a turnover of over $ 6.3 billion in the next five years. And in Europe, the French dynamism is being followed in all areas (including formulation, design, ingredients, marketing & communication …). From September 12 to 15, the Natural Beauty Summit Europe explores all areas of development to help market participants to tackle challenges.

“Companies are now commited in natural and sustainable development, they have established distribution, marketing and communication strategies, systems analysis, measurement of eco-design, ROI, …. France, which joined the race very lately, like Germany, is now seing an extremely rapid evolution as we shall see with an unpublished study proposed by Eurostaf / Les Echos. This is the first study to have worked on the French specificities. Beyond numbers, it looks at the strategies implemented by brands and future prospects. Because in order to understand the numbers, we must analyze the facts!
We will present all European figures with numerous market studies that will lay their expert eyes on this market segment that is experiencing double digit growth since 2000.
We will cover concrete concepts, see what Works in terms of environmental impact and costs. For instance, in terms of sustainable development, we have the first conclusions of the pilot phase of the display of 100 environmental products. How were they chosen? What will be the impact on the design? We will talk about the eco-design packaging software of Chanel, and the system for measuring the environmental impact of L’Occitane.
Inevitably, the issue of international certification and the ISO standard will be discussed but we have to remain aware that natural cosmetics is also an « eco-friendly » and « environment friendly » cosmetic, not just certified. »
Three separate half-days, organized during the BEAUTY WEEK, will allow participants in the Summit who refer to natural cosmetics to complete their visit by visiting BEYOND BEAUTY PARIS.
A fourth day devoted to formulation will be held on Sept. 15th at « Maison de la Chimie in Paris. »
