The progress made in Green Chemistry will give a boost to natural cosmetic compositions and by doing so, to the beauty landscape. In its Creative series, Beyond Beauty Paris is offering, in collaboration with Sandie Jaidane, a conference to understand the improvements it brings and will bring to our industry in terms of product development.

Green Chemistry is a process that transforms natural ingredients into active cosmetic ingredients, without denaturing them, while being environment-friendly. A significant technical advance that will also enable brands to widen the selection of products offered, to further enhance their galenical effects and to position themselves on the same plane as traditional cosmetics.

Laurent Sousselier from UNITIS, European Organization of Cosmetic Ingredient Industries, will present a comprehensive overview of the changes happening now. Anne Rossignol-Castera, General Manager of Oleos and Jean Yves Berthon, Chairman of Greentech, both manufacturers of ingredients, will present new field evidence regarding ingredients that they are able to add to their list thanks to new combinations made possible by green chemistry.
