M&H Plastics launches biodegradable plastic packaging

M&HPlasticsThe English company M&H Plastics, specialized in manufacturing plastic packaging, has launched an additive enabling its plastic bottles, capsules and tubes to biodegrade over a reduced period of five to ten years.

The oxo-biodegradable mixture acts by gradually destroying polymer, thus triggering its decomposition effect in a similar way to other compostable materials. The additive consequently reduces the product’s environmental impact. Every part of the packaging can be considered biodegradable, from the cap to the bottle, including the label.

Highly committed to seeking eco-friendly solutions, M&H Plastics with this additive rounds out its offer of sustainable products to satisfy a growing demand from cosmetics brands and consumers.
