This foot scrub has recently become very popular in Japan. “It’s home beauty, the home beauty salon, ” explains Florence Bernardin. The box holds two plastic envelopes, each containing a nonwoven sock soaked in lactic acid, water, alcohol and sometimes salicylic acid. You just slip the feet into these “masks,” keep them there for 60 to 90 minutes, rinse, and let the magic of the formula go to work. All the dead cells of the soles of the feet are gradually removed, for a period of up to 5 to 7 days, and the skin regains its initial look.
